Submitting to Troubador Press

Troubador Press is a micro-press seeking outside-the-box comics, zines, and science fiction/fantasy genre books. While our main passion is sci-fi and fantasy, we welcome all genres.

What We Are Looking For

• Format: Self-contained, stand-alone works or finished collections (10–200 pages). No ongoing serialized works.

• Creators: Solo creators or small (2-person) teams with a strong creative vision.

• Style: Unique themes, experimental designs, and underrepresented voices.

• Reprints: Neglected/forgotten sci-fi, fantasy, or art books (your own past work or recommendations).

🚫 Strict Rule: We do not accept work created with AI assistance at any stage.🚫

How to Submit

Email info@troubadorpress.com. As a solo publisher, I will respond within a few days.

• Complete Works: Attach a full PDF.

• In-Progress Works: Include a synopsis, a few pages of finished art, and any scripts/thumbnails.

Rights & Royalties

• Copyright: Creators retain 100% ownership; we only license publication/distribution rights. We are also open to buying rights for certain projects.

• Royalties:70/30 split of net profits (70% to the creator), paid quarterly via PayPal or preferred method.

• Marketing: Joint effort. We provide promotion via our website, social media, and national conventions/expos.
